Our Team

Gary Deese has been a financial advisor since 2002.  He holds his FINRA series 6, 7, 63 registrations through LPL Financial and 65 registration with Independent Advisor Alliance LLC. Gary is also Certified in Long-Term Care.  He graduated with a BSBA in Marketing from Western Carolina University in 1984.  Gary is married to Dianna Deese with two children:  Alexis and Sara.  Gary is a member of and has served on boards for Lake Murray Lions Club, Lexington Rotary, Lexington Baptist Church, The Shepherd's Center, and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a member of Business Networking International, and currently serves as President of the Lexington Rotary Club and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Lexington Baptist Church.  Gary’s personal interests include golf, tennis, and woodworking.

Lisa has been the Director of Operations for Crescent Financial Group since November 2011.  She attended Temple University, and prior to moving to Lexington in 2005, her professional career has included being a Comptroller for various businesses and owning a bookkeeping business.  Lisa is married to Allen Taylor and has four children:  Brittany, Jordan, Lexi and Greyson.  Lisa's personal interests include whitewater rafting, cake decorating, reading and sewing.

Michele Chisholm is our administrative assistant.  She came to Crescent Financial Group following a 20-year career as a medical transcriptionist.  Michele and her husband, Michael, have two children, Michael and Camille, and a new son-in-law, Walter.  Michele is a lifelong seamstress and needlework artist and is always busy in her studio creating for herself and others.
